Many LCOs are moving this way for a real reason: cable churns, broadband customers don't switch as easily. But check three things first. Support is a completely different discipline — 'internet is slow' is far harder than 'no signal'. Tolerance for downtime is much lower; an hour without TV is fine, an hour without internet gets an immediate call. And it's capital-heavy with a slow return. If your current cable complaints are already running behind, broadband will double that problem — fix it first. Your genuine advantage is that those homes are already yours.
